1. Locked in before the race
The moment a pick is posted, we save it with the time to the second and give it a digital fingerprint (SHA-256).
2. Chained together
Each fingerprint includes the one before it, so changing, backdating or removing any pick breaks every fingerprint after it.
3. Revealed after the jump
Once the race starts, the full details go public so anyone can recompute the fingerprint and check the result against official results.
